CAFM Data Quality Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of CAFM Data Quality Project Manager on a high-profile technology account. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing the data governance and management function for our global team. This fully remote role requires collaboration with the current systems administrator to automate processes and implement enhancements. 

 

As the Data Quality Project Manager, you will be functionally embedded in the Data Governance structures of JLL's Occupancy Planning, Space Data, and Insights Platform. Your responsibilities will include: 

Following guidance from the broader Data Governance team to develop and maintain Client Account level Data Governance policies, processes, and data standards. 

Establishing and developing a Client Account data governance and management framework across functional partners to ensure consistency and integrity of the data. 

Conducting data profiling and defining compliance, usage, and quality metrics, including dashboard creation to track and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders. 

Managing Master Data Management for critical data elements, including gatekeeping of standards, root cause identification, and promoting corrective actions and procedures. 

Engaging in daily business communication and relationship building with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to address ongoing data issues and democratize knowledge on data, including the development of a mature Data Stewardship program. 

Creating and maintaining Data Dictionaries, playbooks, and training materials for the broader team. 

Facilitating meetings with data consumers, data stewards, data producers, and other stakeholders to ensure data governance rules and standards are applied to data-related changes/projects. 

Collaborating with the CAFM Technology team, cross-functional partners, and counterparts to understand the business context for data management activities. 

Identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions regarding data quality and processes. 

Supporting the Account in knowledge management by establishing and documenting data flows and processes. 

 

Qualifications & Experience: 

Five or more years of experience in data governance/data management in an enterprise environment, working across multiple application systems and business functions. 

Demonstrated experience in managing complex data projects from initiation to completion, including defining objectives, developing project plans, allocating resources, and monitoring progress, is highly valued. 

Proficiency in data management and analysis is important for handling space data and generating insights. You should be adept at organizing and analyzing large volumes of data, interpreting trends, and using data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively. 

Proficient understanding of Archibus, Smart Client and Web Central features, including space management, maintenance management, lease management, and reporting functionalities. 

Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data from Archibus, Tririga systems to generate meaningful insights. 

Prior experience in a business analyst or similar role. 

Familiarity with SQL and database management processes. 

High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to make effective decisions and solve problems. 

Knowledge of data lifecycle and maintenance processes. 

Good understanding of data quality management processes and concepts. 

Knowledge of data governance and its impact on business processes. 

Advanced skills in Google Suite: gSheets, gDocs, gSlides, etc. 

Skills: 

Strong relationship management skills, including excellent listening and consultative capability, ability to influence and negotiate with business and technology partners, and the capacity to take a broad perspective and make key connections. 

Demonstrated expertise in information management, analytics, and data profiling. Experience in control, compliance, audit, and risk management will be beneficial. 

Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the overall information and analytics space. 

Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong negotiation and group facilitation skills, with the ability to move processes forward while meeting the needs of various clients. 

Ability to collaborate with peers at various levels, including analysts, developers, and executives, regarding complex business and data-related issues. 

Strong consulting and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to facilitate mission-critical projects, manage task timelines and deliverable schedules, and recognize and share risks and roadblocks. 

Collaborative, imaginative, resourceful, reliable, and technically savvy. 

Superior ability to manage, manipulate, and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using technology. Articulate issues and resolutions through business-friendly communications. Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for data management issues. 

Good understanding of data quality management. Knowledge of data governance and its impact on business processes.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

106,300.00 – 154,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
