Cage and Credit Supervisor

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Under the direction of the Cage Manager, the incumbent is responsible for controlling and accounting of transactions for the cage window and chip bank. Exhibit all conduct in accordance with Nevada Gaming Regulations and GSR policies and procedures, as well as all federal and state laws and regulations. Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees. Reasonable for the impress bank issued.    Perform guest and in house monetary transactions.    Balance and issue impress bank to floor attendants, food and beverage, and hotel employees. Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately. Prepare paperwork, balance sheets, and documents in accordance with our standards and procedures and within the guidelines of internal controls. Transfer cash, chips and checks between cage and departments in an accurate and efficient manner. Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures in order to maintain integrity of the cage operation. Comply with Federal 31 Procedures.    Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring reasonable gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations. Comply with all departmental and company policies. Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guest, vendors, visitors, and GSR staff. Display professional conduct, sound judgement, the highest level of professional integrity, and strong work ethic. Perform other duties assigned.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent; One (1) year of cash handling experience is required. Six  (6) months of casino cage cashier experience strongly preferred.

AGE REQUIREMENTS- Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age. 

CERTIFICATIONS - Able to qualify for Nevada Gaming license.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee: must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others.  Is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.  May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
