The Role

The Cage Operations Supervisor will ensure compliance with regulatory Policies & Procedures in order to safeguard the Company’s assets. Oversee training, counseling and supervision of direct reports and Policies and Procedures. Promote superior customer service.

Responsibilities Ensure prompt distribution of funds to appropriate Cages/Cashiers. Maintain cash inventory with accuracy. Assist Shift Manager with development and implementation of Company and Departmental Policies and Procedures. Oversee/supervise MCB Banker and Impressment personnel. Collect shortages from/to Cashiers. Conduct training of Policies and Procedures as well as basic machinery, i.e., currency counters, calculators. Issue memos, record REI memos in appropriate log. Oversee and organize Cage work areas, ensure that supplies are readily available and at hand. Responsible for ensuring that all Cashiers attend all mandatory meetings and/or trainings. Promote guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service; handle internal and external guest disputes. Make and log Cashier replacements in compliance with Union Contract. Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition. Make Service Calls to appropriate vendors when equipment requires service. Facilitate Cashier increases, decreases and Even Exchanges. Troubleshoot SRU’s and keep them operational as much as possible. Balance Supervisor safe, transport monies/negotiables to and from VLT Count Room at beginning and end of shift. Complete Daily Shift Report. Input cash data for Cashiers into GUI System and MCB Closeout System. Maintain security of Supervisor keys. Qualifications Must have two years of Supervisory and coin/currency handling experience. Managerial/Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of 10-key and balancing. Must be able to communicate with the public in a clear, friendly manner, as well as be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer-literate. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
