Internal Posting Dates: February 11, 2025- February 18, 2025 Emergency Room – Unit Coordinator – Part Time-7p-7a primary shift; Various Shifts as needed – Req#8282 Pay Range $18.27-$22.43*+ To provide support to the professional staff in the Emergency Department. The ability to provide this support involves clerical computer knowledge, technical skills and patient service. The demonstration of organizational skills in conjunction with the emergency room staff pertaining to the activity in the Emergency Department. The ability to prioritize and interact with staff, patients and family members during emergency situations. To perform CPR in Code Blue / Pink as directed by charge nurse. Requirements: + Familiar with medical terminology. + Clerical duties include familiarity with Order Entry. + CPR within 30 days of hire. + Assists nursing staff when directed to by performing the tasks appropriate for skill level. + Answers the telephone. + Maintains a clean work area. + Transports patients when needed. + Assists staff with clerical needs. + Files medical records appropriately. + Orders labs, x-rays, cat scans and ultrasounds as needed and when directed to. + Files on correct charts. + Maintains ED log with accurate charges. + Assists physicians with consults, follow-ups and transfers. + Registers ER patients when Registration is not available All internal candidates must apply via our website.
