Description
A Baskin-Robbins cake decorator is a unique individual who organizes and takes a creative-approach to decorating desserts as an art, always experimenting with new ideas and methods. A Cake Decorator takes special pride and personal interest in their work. They arrive at work when scheduled, manage their time effectively, and take the initiative to fill in when extra help in other areas of the restaurant is needed at this Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins Combo Restaurant. They should treat other team members with courtesy, warmth and respect.
A Cake Decorator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions
• Icing, decorating, packaging, labeling, and pricing products.
• Icing, decorating, tray, and maintaining freezer and refrigerated showcase
• Organizing and rotating stock in the Decorator's freezer
• Maintains adequate amounts of products in display cases
• Filling customer special orders and keeping track of all custom orders so that they are available to the guest by the scheduled day and time.
• Dynamically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-relation decisions
• Operating the Bakery department mixer
• Ensures that desserts meet Baskin-Robbins’ Dessert Decorating Quality Standards
• Produce dessert borders that are even, symmetrical and polished in appearance with straight and smooth edges and surfaces
• Maintaining Baskin Robbins high standards for product freshness and sanitation
• Training other associates as needed
• Completing inventory and order of their supplies on a weekly basis
