Job Overview

The Associate, Calendar & Promotional Strategy plays a pivotal role in driving sales and customer engagement through the development and execution of compelling seasonal events. This position is responsible for creating and implementing a robust sales event architecture, developing innovative sale concepts, and overseeing the execution of marketing tactics. They possess a strong understanding of consumer behavior and demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.

 

What You Will Do

Assist in developing and lead the execution of a comprehensive sales event architecture framework and calendar that aligns with overall marketing and business goals. Create innovative and engaging concepts for seasonal, holiday, and promotional sale events. Develop clear and concise messages for each event, ensuring customers understand the event’s purpose and offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute effective sales messaging across all channels. Lead the planning and execution of sales marketing tactical support, including: Partnering with marketing teams to gather information for creative style-outs and presentations, including messaging and product priorities. Communicating marketing plan details and deliverables to cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration across digital and in-store channels for specific product priorities. Reviewing all marketing assets to ensure alignment with campaign objectives and providing timely, constructive feedback. Partner with financial planning and analytics teams to develop daily sales plans and track event performance metrics. Leverage data insights to optimize event performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Financial Acumen: Partners with financial planning and analytics teams to develop budgets, track performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions.

Communication Skills: Clearly and effectively conveys ideas, feedback, and information to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Customer Champion: Puts the customer at the center of decision-making, anticipating their wants and needs.

Strategic and Creative Thinker: Applies creative, strategic, and technical thinking to complex problems, using structured analysis to draw actionable insights and develop vision, strategy, and action plans.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 6+ years of marketing strategy experience.  Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision. Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
