These responsibilities include calibration development to meet Engine Emissions, On Board Diagnostic (OBD), and all various interactions with these dynamic systems. Develop powertrain control calibrations that meet all program emissions, fuel economy, performance, drivability, and diagnostics metrics and meet program timing requirements. Conduct laboratory tests to validate engine and vehicle emissions, fuel economy, performance, drivability, and diagnostics. Conduct in-vehicle testing and development in S.E. Michigan. May include calibration development in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and Northern Canada (2 week trips/4 times a year). Design and conduct testing to validate powertrain and vehicle attributes. Analyze and present summarized data collected in vehicle to validate results. **You'll have...** Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Excellent teamwork and communication skills 2+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration (drivability, emisisons, obd) 1+ years of experience with one more of the following software tools: ETAS, ATI, or MATLAB. Valid Driver’s License required **Even better, you may have...** Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration including emissions or OBD development. Strong understanding and experience with calibration and data acquisition tools such as ATI Vision, ETAS INCA, or similar.
