Job Title: Transmission Calibration EngineerJob Description The Global Transmission Calibration Engineer will play an integral role in developing the customer driving experience and optimizing fuel economy. This position involves developing, verifying, and releasing transmission calibrations for automatic transmission applications. You will perform hands-on, in-vehicle calibration development work, support test trips to verify proper transmission operation across various environmental conditions, and coordinate activities of global teams for vehicle development in global markets. You will work with in-vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS-INCA calibration tools, and mathematical analysis tools such as Matlab to meet objectives. Additionally, you will manage transmission calibration project deliverables for assigned projects. Responsibilities + Develop, verify, and release transmission calibrations for automatic transmission applications. + Perform hands-on, in-vehicle calibration development work. + Support test trips to verify proper transmission operation across various environmental conditions. + Coordinate activities of global teams conducting various aspects of vehicle development for global markets. + Work with in-vehicle test instrumentation, ETAS-INCA calibration tools, and mathematical analysis tools such as Matlab. + Manage transmission calibration project deliverables for assigned projects. Essential Skills + Calibration + Powertrain + Test equipment + OBD + Engine Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. + Prior automotive experience (University SAE or other experience is acceptable). + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook). + Desire to perform in-vehicle test and development work in addition to analysis work. + Willingness to work with global teams. + Consideration for both experienced candidates and new college graduates. Work Environment This position requires onsite presence at CTC for anywhere from 3-5 days per week. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $44.17 - $44.17/hr.
