Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Minimum 5 years experience in powertrain calibration development

Detailed knowledge of internal combustion engines and testing techniques

Experience with engine calibration tools and tailpipe emissions testing

Knowledge of Engine Management Systems (EMS) principles

Understanding of current powertrain control system architectures

Experience with OBD testing and calibration

Knowledge of legislative requirements for OBD, exhaust, and evaporative emissions

Job Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and deliver Engine Calibration Development and Testing

Conduct chassis/engine emission testing activities with detailed analysis of test results

Optimize calibrations to meet emissions, fuel efficiency, and drivability targets

Prepare technical reports, papers, and presentations

Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

Maintain specialist knowledge of new technologies relevant to the role

Mentor junior engineers for their technical career development

Observe all safety rules and regulations; ensure safety of others around the work area
