Our Calibration Department is currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Group Manager - Metrology Inspection to be based at the Corporate Office in Marietta, GA. The Calibration Department specializes in precision calibration measuring equipment of various types. Job Title: Group Manager-Metrology Inspection – Marietta, GA Summary: TheGroup Manager- MetrologyInspection -Mariettawill oversee CT scanning, laser scanning, and dimensional inspections labs. They will manage and lead a growing team and labs as the department makes a push into new territories. Responsibilities: + Day to day oversight of inspection and calibration activities within the Dimensional Inspection and (CT) Computed Tomography labs. + Working with senior management to develop and oversee strategic initiatives + Hire, train, and support talent on a growing team in multiple offices + Assist in customer correspondence and quoting + Create and maintain a schedule of work for a small team of technicians/engineers + Maintain accountability for the highest personal, professional, and safety standards + Maintain department owned assets per Company’s Quality Policy + Assist in business development for the Calibration/Metrology segment + Other duties as assigned Requirements: + Deep knowledge and understanding of metrology software such as PC-DMIS, Volume Graphics, and Polyworks + 4 year engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, materials) or equivalent industry experience + Positive, can-do attitude + Customer-centric and entrepreneurial minded + Deep knowledge and understanding of CT, CMM, and laser scanning operation + Ability to work with a team and key clients + Ability and willingness to work 40 hours (and overtime as needed) to meet customer demands and schedules + Ability and willingness to fly and/or drive to client sites, tradeshows, or other company sponsored events + Access to personal cell phone with data plan for connection to company email and multi-factor authentication + Ability to lift 60 pounds + Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening Travel: Up to 25% ATS offers excellent wages and advancement opportunities ATS full-time employee benefits include: medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, and PTO EOE/AA/M/F/Vet/Disabled Job Type: Full-time
