The successful candidate will help coordinate the flow of assets into the 3 Andover Calibration Labs. The candidate will help prioritize critical Calibrations with the Cal Lab Manager and the Cal Lab Supervisors. This includes assets coming into the Labs from off-site, Legacy, RMD sites including but not limited to: Tewksbury, Marlboro, Sudbury, Woburn, Pelham, Portsmouth, Nashua (MCP). The candidate will also be responsible for scheduling the backlogs assigned to the Labs, assist with Workplace Organization and address safety issues in the areas.

What You Will Do
+ The Technical Support Engineer will provide coordination, logistic, and technical support as an individual contributor advancing departmental objectives
+ Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support.
+ Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.
+ Analyzes technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements
+ Updates Calibration Control database; uses Cal Control database to search for spare assets; creates Test Equipment Requests (TER's); performs Certificate of Calibration reviews for compliance to Quality requirements and conducts quality and timely data-input entry into various data management systems ensuring always accurate, reliable, and traceable calibration certificate and data storage
+ Experience with and understanding of general calibration philosophies and traceability to national standards; experience working with test measurement and diagnostic equipment, calibration processes and calibration quality standards
+ Provides high quality, on-time, communication and coordination to leadership and supported customers
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s and less than 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree.
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Master’s Degree is a plus.
+ Experience with Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment
+ Prompt response and support to all customer needs in a demanding work environment.
+ Must be able to lift 40lbs with work safely with no restrictions
+ Experience with Microsoft Office applications
+ Proven communication skills
+ Ability to prioritize work and work with minimal supervision
+ Organized and have the ability to work in a dynamic team environment

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
