We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some of the biggest companies in the nation. Our client has a need for a Calibration Systems Engineer. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.  For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.

Calibration Systems Engineer        

Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a Calibration Systems Engineer will include:

Compensation (Range):  / hour: $37.50 - $38.50 hr Lead new feature development from concept to production (feature definition, feature logical design, feature implementation spec, FMA, feature verification plan, engineering sign off); • Develop high level network, wiring and power distribution topologies / schematics / block diagrams; • Support & update the application of legacy features; • Represent the feature to product development teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure resulting product meets the feature vision and objectives; • Lead/Support feature change management; • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, cost or quality;

It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

The desire to be part of a collaborative, diverse and inclusive culture; • Excellent organizational and communication skills; • Strong relationship-building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of an organization; • Strong leadership and technical skills to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders; • Understanding software systems and products; • Ability to conduct design reviews to ensure they meet best practices; • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with designers, coders, integrators and business teams; • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and tasks judiciously • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees • Ambition and the ability to be self-directed • Fluent in English Electrical Systems Engineering experience including understanding of systems engineering V model – Minimum 5 years • Experience in Automotive industry or Electrical D&R experience is a plus • Experience testing or verifying software meets acceptance criteria • Experience creating release notes, user documentation, and/or training materials • Experience writing a requirements specification or statement of work Model Based System Engineer PROFILE Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
