Express Calibration Services specializes in the calibration of precision measurement and test equipment of various types. We are currently seeking a professional Calibration Technician to be based at our Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, MO facility. Job Summary: The Calibration Technician will calibrate and repair a variety of test and measurement equipment with limited supervision. The Calibration Technician will work with other technicians on the team or work on projects by themselves. Candidates should be self-starters, willing to learn, have attention to detail, and possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and computer skills are a must. Responsibilities: + Calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment + AC/DC Low Voltage (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, voltage calibrators etc.) + RF Frequency Measuring and Generating Devices (spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, and counters) + Temperature & Humidity devices (data loggers, environmental chambers, ovens) + Generating T&M equipment (Meggers, insulation testers, hipot testers, mill-ohmmeters) + Mechanical T&M equipment: (torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, scales, pressure gages and crimpers) + Provide training to entry level calibration technicians. Requirements: + Associate degree in electronics or equivalent required. + Commercial or Military PMEL or TMDE experience preferred. + ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) preferred. + 1-3 years previous experience calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment is required. + Knowledge and experience with ISO 17025 Quality Management Systems. + Ability to read and understand schematics and follow written procedures. + Commercial or Military experience will be considered. + ASQ CCT Certification preferred. + Knowledge of basic AC/DC circuitry is preferred. + Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. unassisted daily. “U.S. Persons” Only: A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).
