The Calibration Technician is responsible for the calibration of all equipment instruments; to include troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
Responsibilities Set up testing equipment and perform calibrations electronically and mechanically on all equipment, including pressure sensors, temperature sensors and probes, flow meters, flow sensors, chart recorders, vibration sensors, conductivity sensors, etc. Enter data in INFO systems and build spreadsheets to track calibration and equipment reliability and performance. Report progress to management weekly. Scheduling of all calibrations, following frequencies recommended by manufacturer of equipment as well as recommendations from quality and management. Responsible for establishing calibration SOP's and update when necessary. Work with INFO administrator to establish Preventive Maintenance to refine them and schedule timelines. Use approved calibration techniques of the manufacturers on the equipment. Attend training when necessary, on and off site. complete other tasks as assigned. Hours and days off may vary depending on when certain calibrations need to be done to stay on schedule and must be approved by management. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent experience, plus secondary education with an emphasis on the electrical/mechanical field. 1-3 years of maintenance, electrical and electronics experience in an industrial facility, preferably a food/dairy or beverage production/manufacturing environment repairing and troubleshooting issues on packaging and filling equipment. Compensation Range: $28.00 - $40.00, plus bonus.
