Job Description
As a Calibration Technician, you will support a leading calibration services company by working on-site with a major pharmaceutical client. You will be responsible for calibrating new equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with specific policies and procedures. You will work alongside other calibration engineers and technicians, reporting to an engineering manager.
ResponsibilitiesComplete calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance (PMs) with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following specific policies and procedures.Perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations with guidance.Identify new opportunities for the company when interacting with clients and relay leads to the Leader/Manager.Complete timesheets with correct labor code charges weekly and assist other associates in proper coding of time and expenses.Handle and maintain equipment properly, including testing and standards equipment.Learn to troubleshoot and perform repairs while primarily focusing on scheduled calibrations and maintenance events.Identify and report any safety issues at the work site and educate peers on safety practices.Essential SkillsTwo-year degree in engineering/sciences or equivalent military training.Experience calibrating industrial equipment (pressure, temperature, flow, electrical, etc.).Life sciences and GMP experience REQUIREDAdditional Skills & QualificationsCCST certification.Field service roles and traveling to clients for equipment calibration.Pharmaceutical equipment experience.Work Environment
You will work on-site in an industrial environment and may be required to travel 50% of the time to surrounding states, such as Ohio and Michigan. All travel expenses will be covered by the company. Travel will only occur during the week, ensuring you are home on weekends. Given the scale of the current project, travel may not be required for a few years.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $39.00
