Calibration Technician
A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a Calibration Technician at MKS-Ophir, you will partner with our Calibration Department to calibrate laser measurement sensors and meters. In this role, you will report to the Calibration Supervisor.You Will Make an Impact By:• Conduct calibration of instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and specifications• Document calibration results, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all calibration activities for audit and compliance purposes• Regularly inspect, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment to detect and correct any deviations from standard performance• Ensure all calibration activities meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and company policies• Keep calibration tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are properly stored, cleaned, and maintainedSkills You Bring:• Associate degree, military technical training, equivalent vocational training or work experience• 0-1 year of related experience• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office requiredPreferred Skills: (Optional)• Experience in testing digital and/or analog systems helpful• Ability to read drawings and use measurement instrumentsPhysical Demands and Working Conditions:• Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 pounds• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time• Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
