We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our team. This role involves performing routine and non-routine calibrations, preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment, and supporting Metrologists. We provide training on calibration skills and techniques.

ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and non-routine calibrations and preventative maintenance on analytical, microbiological, and material sciences laboratory equipment.Follow calibration procedures and access technical information from various sources.Create certificates of calibration and maintain compliance with ISO17025 accreditation procedures.Perform regular preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.Complete scheduled calibrations and create calibration certificates in a timely manner.Collaborate with third-party vendors to schedule and complete calibrations by the monthly deadline.Handle general office duties, including scanning, filing, submitting purchase orders, and uploading documentation to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).Collect and organize samples from internal labs and store them in freezers and fridges.Order and organize office supplies needed for the lab.Assist in the creation and review of Quality Control documents such as Deviations, Out of Tolerance Investigations, Change Control documentation.Work Environment

You will work within the Metrology/Central Receiving team in a QC Lab environment. Each employee will have a desk and a computer, but most of the time will be spent in the central receiving room or Metrology room working hands-on with equipment and samples. The team includes 2 other calibration technicians, 3 experienced Metrologists, and 3 Central Receiving personnel. The lab is a brand new 74,000 square foot space shared with Chemistry, Microbiology, Stability, R&D, and Design and Verification departments.

The work schedule is 1st shift with flexible start times between 6 am and 9 am, and end times between 2:30 pm and 5:30/6:00 pm. Some overtime may be required depending on projects. The Lead Metrologist will provide comprehensive training on all job requirements, including SOPs, GMPs, and hands-on teaching sessions.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
