Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare daily arrivals, inclusive of daily memos
Process advanced deposits
Attend to correspondence receipts
Research daily reservations/refunds
Respond to brochure requests
Handle Gift Certificate inquiries, sales, and processing
Be up-to-date on current offerings within hotel, waterpark, and local area
Be sure supplies and equipment is adequate and organized
Be up-to-date of all special event packages and rates
Answer room reservation calls and be prepared to give rates and describe rooms and various packages
Print confirmations for guests, check over for accuracy, and mail out
Input rooming lists
Run arrivals for current day
Complete call-tracking sheets
Be aware of availability of Hotel for current day verses competing hotels and their rates
Skills and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Computer experience
Prior customer services experience required
Must be able to speak, understand, read and write English
Should have an enthusiastic and service-oriented attitude
Basic knowledge of OPERA System preferred
Ability to share all possible hotel and waterpark knowledge as trained
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Knowledgeable of property and waterpark information
Possess organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary
Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole
Pay Range: $15.75-$16.00
