Call Center Representative
On-call Representatives are responsible to answer all calls received in a courteous and professional manner and see all calls through to resolution, collaborating with other staff as needed, to ensure that patients, providers, and/or staff, have the information and assistance they need and maintain SCH’s positive reputation. This may include scheduling appointments, tasking appropriate staff using the EHR, and enrolling and guiding callers through troubleshooting, navigating the patient portals. Representatives will de-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients, helping and supporting as needed. Representatives will gather and verify all required, confidential health and financial information from patients as needed while using various computer software products. Minimum Qualifications: Upbeat, positive person who enjoys helping others with superb customer service, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills ; basic knowledge of EHR programs, medical terminology; efficient time management skills and ability to multi-task; excellent writing, oral, and interpersonal communication skills ; comfortable working in fast-paced environment; strong communication and active listening skills ; exceptional organizational, planning, coordinating and collaborating skills ; strong understanding and comf ort level with computer system. High school graduate or equivalent required. Multi-lingual a plus.
