Job Summary:

Camera Technician: Utilizes production tooling, computers, and specialized equipment required for production and material/WIP tracking. Identifies and documents discrepant material. May complete rework on discrepant material or RMA material as required. Performs final verification testing and pack-out for Camera assemblies. Interacts with Coworkers, Managers, and Engineering for Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement efforts.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs electrical measurements and tests from test procedures and engineering specificationsSet up and check out test station/equipmentMaintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results (metrics)Removes, replaces, and assembles parts and/or assemblies as requiredPerforms necessary touch up and cleaning of deliverable hardwareAssists engineering in developing test procedures for new productsMonitors consumables required to support test activitiesMaintain inventory of tooling and equipment on hand and advise on equipment required to meet production schedules including obsolete, repair or calibration statusSupports special assignments as required.

Job Qualifications:

Must be able to communicate orally, read, and write using the English language required to effectively communicate and document test results.Ability to work using hands and have good manual dexterity with attention to detailIntermediate computer skills - Outlook, Excel, WordMust be able to sit/stand for extended periods of timeMust possess U.S. Citizenship or valid U.S. Permanent Resident Alien (“Green Card”) StatusAttention to Detail required while performing measurements and testsAnalytical Problem-Solving skills required to assist with test failure analysis and troubleshoot and advise engineers of root cause failureCollaboration & Teamwork required to effectively work with engineers and various support personnelKnowledge and experience in the following required:Mechanical and electrical conceptsAbility to read and understand written test procedures

Desired skills:

A.A. or A.S. degree or equivalent experience (e.g., military training) desiredMinimum 5 years experience in electronics industry requiredESD procedures – preferredISO 9001 experience – preferred

Salary Range:

$50,820.00-$67,870.000
