Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Housekeeper to join our Resolute Bay hotel operations department in Resolute Bay, NU. The Housekeeper is responsible for the general housekeeping, linen cleaning, overall cleanliness, and maintaining hygienic conditions. 

The position will be located on site at the Resolute Bay, NU and will work on a rotation of 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off.

Where We Work and Live:

ATCO Frontec has been operating in Resolute Bay since 1970 and have a long history of providing services in the North. The ATCO Frontec team in Resolute Bay provides logistics services for various Northern Government and private sector initiatives, including support and maintenance for the Polar Continental Shelf Program, the Resolute Bay Weather Observation, and the operation, maintenance and distribution of fuel for the hamlet and the Resolute Bay airport. The project team also provides logistics and operational support to initiatives in surrounding communities including Eureka and Grise Fiord. With a wide range of resources and experience, the Resolute Bay team can handle any operation in one of the most hostile climates in Canada. 

Responsibilities:

Wash, dry and fold linens and towels Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries Clean floor surfaces including waxing and polishing Pick up debris and empty trash containers Wash windows, walls and ceilings Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Good organizational skills Ability to multitask  Excellent people skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to lift 25+lbs Experience in a remote camp environment would be considered an asset
