Campus Director of Environmental Services
We are seeking a Campus Director of Environmental Services to join our leadership team at **Jones-Harrison Residence** (long term care nursing home, transitional care unit, assisted living) located in Minneapolis, MN and revolutionize the way we provide senior living and health services. As a Campus Administrator, you will have the overall responsibility for campus buildings and grounds in addition to overseeing environmental services. Environmental Services in the SNF includes but not limited to laundry, housekeeping, custodial, and maintenance staff ensuring that the facility is a clean, safe, and odor-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Supervises the SNF ENvironmental Services Department including but not limited to housekeeping, laundry, custodial, and maintenance staff: + Post, interviews and makes final hiring decisions + Effectively managers staff performance and provides appropriate feedback + Trains and provides ongoing feedback to staff + Establish work schedules for Environmental Services staff + Oversees and monitors work orders for timely repairs + Creates and monitors the Environmental Services budget Develops and maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program for the Campus: + Establishes yearly goals + Partners with site leadership regarding maintenance and repair of the buildings + Partners with site leaderhip regarding contracts and works with vendors on repairs + Develops and assists with establishing and following Preventative Maintenance Programs + Assistas in the development of Maintenance budgets for campus buildings + Monitors work orders for timely repairs and notifies and works with site leadership regarding concerns + Completes Preventative Maintenance as needed, and logs repairs as needed Promotes a safe work environment: + Demonstarates commitment to the facility accident prevention program + Identifies and remedies potential safety hazards + Trains and/or supports safety awareness (such as lockout/tag out, MSD's) + Demonstrates knowledge of disaster plans - monitors completion of campus fire drills and coordinates fire drills for SNF/Care Center + Leads (if applicable) or serves on campus Safety Committees and audits + Leads Emergency Preparedness implementation Other duties as assigned Required: + Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree + 1-3 years of experience + Experience with mechanical equipment + Special Class C Boilers License within 12 months of hire date + Current Driver's License (in good standing) Preferred: + Bachelor's Degree - Plant Maintenance or related field + 3-5 years of experience
