Our client, a dedicated educational institution, is seeking a Campus Monitor to join their team. As a Campus Monitor, you will be part of the security team supporting the safety and well-being of students and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring a secure environment.
**Job Title:** Campus Monitor - Per Diem
**Location:** Yorktown Heights, NY
**Pay Rate:** $18.00/hr.
**Can be called on to cover the following shifts:**
63am-230pm, 7am-3pm, 730am-330pm, 130pm-730pm, 2pm-7pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Monitor and secure the premises of the campus, both inside and outside.
+ Check in visitors and ensure proper procedures are followed for appointments.
+ Provide assistance and guidance to students and staff as needed.
+ Respond to any incidents or emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
+ Collaborate with school administration to maintain a safe learning environment.
**What's Needed?**
+ Several years of law enforcement or security experience.
+ Experience working in a school district is a plus.
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of individuals.
+ Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
