Job Overview

 

Komatsu is looking for a Campus Recruiting Manager that will be an integral team member of the Talent Acquisition Team.  As the Campus Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for developing creative strategies to increase the visibility of Komatsu’s brand on college campuses.  You will develop and create tools, resources, and process to standardize campus recruiting.  As the subject expert, you will partner with the North America HR Team as the main point of contact in all aspects of college/university recruiting.  You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify talent needs and help build a strong and diverse talent pipeline.  As we continue to grow our presence on college campuses, this role is critical in achieving our goals.
 

Key Job Responsibilities

 

Develop creative strategies to increase the visibility of Komatsu’s brand on college campuses and attract students and graduates to apply to Komatsu positions.   Establish and maintain relationships at colleges and universities with administration, faculty, career services, and various student organizations.  Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a positive and consistent brand experience across all college and university touchpoints.  Participate and attend various school events, career fairs, information sessions, career services events and other opportunities to get in front of students and faculty.  Develop and create tools, resources, and standardized processes as the subject matter expert in all aspects of college/university recruiting.  Work closely with business leaders and HR teams to identify hiring needs, forecast talent requirements, and develop strategies for building a strong talent pipeline from colleges and universities.  Lead and support internship programs in partnership with local HR teams.    Support diversity recruiting efforts by partnering with colleges/universities, student organizations, and events.  Track and analyze key metrics related to university relations activities, such as student engagement, recruitment outcomes, and ROI, and provide regular reports and insights to leadership.  Support and partner with the North America HR team as the main point of contact for anything related to college/university strategy and recruiting.  Qualifications/Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.  Minimum of 3 years of experience in university relations, campus recruiting, or a similar role.  Strong understanding of the higher education landscape and talent acquisition trends.  Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect and engage with diverse stakeholders including students, faculty, and administrators.  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.  Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.  Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment strategies.  Ability to travel 30% - 50% to various campuses and represent Komatsu.  Additional Information
