Investigates visitor and associate injury claims. Administers risk management programs including workplace safety training, incident report recordkeeping, campus compliance audits. Assist with Visitor Service Patrol duties when needed included working events and other patrol duties. Reviews data, identifies trends, and makes recommendations to improve campus safety.Essential Job Functions: Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Investigates visitor and associate campus incidents. Observes and photographs environment, interviews visitors, witness, or associates and obtains statements, reviews CCTV recordings, reviews initial Incident Reports and department SOPs. Documents findings on Supplemental Incident Reports. Makes recommendations to enhance SOPs when appropriate.Review, analyze, trend, and summarize incident reports including recurring and critical events. Propose mitigation solutions (training, policy, procedures) to the Director of Visitor Services and Risk Management to minimize future incidents. Provide incident statistics at safety committee meetings and respond to inquiries. Maintain Safety Committee meeting agenda and may co-lead meetings with Safety Committee Chair. Prepare findings for Safety Committee. Inform Home Office Risk Management of visitor injury and accident claims occurring on Company property. Maintain accurate, complete, and organized records retention for potential litigation.Reviews event with impacted department(s) management discussing preventative measures or actionable items. Collects, tracks, reminds and follow up on pending testing and other safety related itemsInitial contact person for non-employee ADA related questions for lawns, chapels and servicesInspections, Audits, and Health
Research county and state heath orders and recommends standards to Safety Committee.Liaison with Rose Hills Human Resources in supporting the IIPP program.Conducts OSHA pre-inspections and Fire Life Safety inspections.Conducts Risk Assessments and Threat Assessments on campus.Observe actual operations and record infractions or observations. Responsible for quarterly, annual campus fire drills which includes evacuation locations and evacuee designee training.Visitor Services Patrol Duties (As needed)
Enforce Park Rules, Park Etiquette and Regulations at all times.Maintain the patrol services of the Park and the Company’s physical assets.Complete clear and concise reports of activity occurring in the Park.Observe and report any unusual conditions in the Park.Emphasize warm and friendly customer service in all department interactions with visitors.Use crowd control techniques quickly and effectively when called upon.Maintain a good workingProvide high level of customer service, safety, patrol services, and information to visitors and employees.Prepare and provide weekly training to the on-site security staff.Support and Directs all Contract / Special Event Security on site.Supervises “Off Duty Police” when needed on campus for critical incidentsAssist HR during critical terminations with occasional investigations assistanceActs as a liaison with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.Training
Administers standard/off-the-shelf safety training; may revise as appropriate for industry. Liaison with the HR rep in order to support campus field related work with the companies IIPP program.Establishes operational plans and training plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events.Identify necessary training or updated materials. Collaborate with Home Office Learning to maintain safety training records and ensure re-fresher or updated training is attended/tested prior to expiration.Expectations

Work is primarily in an office environment; however, investigations may be conducted outside in various weather conditions. Work seated and/or standing and walking in a carpeted, air-conditioned office where noise level from associates can be quiet to moderate.
