Job Highlights

 

 $19.70 - $25.61 per hour!

 

The Store Supervisor of Operations is responsible for maximizing the stores selling potential by effectively training and leading the stock teammates by overseeing the day-to-day operations in accordance with company standards. They are responsible for ensuring the overall stock standard operating procedures are flawlessly executed and the store achieves brand standards for shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns and more. The Supervisor of Operations is responsible for coaching and developing the Stock Keyholder and Stock Teammates. 


We count on our Supervisor of Operations to:
•    Train and lead teammates in the execution of daily operations aligning with UA procedures and policies.
•    Drive flawless execution of stockroom standards, organization, maintenance and shipment processes.
•    Ensure all teammates are trained and utilizing RFID and supporting operational tools to assist with processes.
•    Oversee inbound and outbound merchandise logistics to ensure full compliance with all UA policies and procedures.
•    Partner with store leadership to maintain standards and support prep and execution of floorsets and merchandising updates. 
•    Support asset protection policy implementation and monitor store audit compliance and results.
•    Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback on coaching skills, job expectations, and Core Competencies through real-time coaching, scheduled touch-bases, individual development planning and the performance review process. 
•    Drive teammate engagement by recognizing and rewarding teammates for their outstanding contributions. 


To be considered for this role, you must meet these minimum requirements: 
•    At least 18 years old 
•    High school degree or equivalent
•    1 year experience in a retail environment and/or operations experience preferred
•    Available to work 40 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays  
•    Comfortable and/or willing to learn technology (such as hand-held and mobile devices)
•    Strong communication skills
•    Can stand, lift, walk, bend and lift cartons weighing up to 25 lbs. during each work shift with or without an accommodation

Additional Responsibilities (may include):

Sales & Omni
•    Supports in driving sales and retail/omni -channel KPI target achievement.  
•    Provides customers with detailed knowledge on company products and initiatives

 

Retail Operations
•    Train and lead teammates in the execution of daily operations aligning with UA procedures and policies.
•    Ensure all teammates are trained and utilizing RFID and supporting operational tools to assist with flawless on shelf availability processes. 
•    Responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of all back of house areas to include the lundia, non-merchandise unit, teammate break area and restrooms. 
•    Assume Stock Keyholder responsibilities in the absence of the Stock Keyholder.
•    Partner with store leadership to maintain standards and support prep and execution of floorsets and merchandising updates. 
•    Oversee training and execution of Omni programs within the store. 
•    Supports in training teammates to provide a service/selling culture unique to Under Armour.
•    Uses advanced functional expertise to drive sales and customer loyalty in designated area of responsibility.
•    Communicate teammates accidents/injuries to store leadership immediately.
•    Support asset protection policy implementation and monitor store audit compliance and results. 

 

Leadership & Team Collaboration
•    Lead role in hiring, training developing and coaching stock keyholder and teammates on merchandise handing skills needed to consistently achieve merchandise productivity standards for shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns, and merchandising. 
•    Coach teammates when productivity expectations are not being met.
•    Communicate clear priorities, sales and KPI targets to sales teammates to achieve target.
•    Maintain and support store safety standards and communicate concerns to store leadership.
•    Support UA strategies to drive sales and operations; observe sales trends and advise store leadership of opportunities.
•    Support store and regional leadership teams and local HR during onboarding and continuous training
 

Qualifications Advanced numeracy, literacy, and advanced communication skills Fluent in local language and basic verbal English skills Proficient in use of computers and other technology Adjusts to new ideas/methods of working Knowledgeable of store operations, visual merchandising, stock room, risk management & safety Knowledge and understanding of employment laws including compliance with federal, state, and local requirements Advanced selling experience and comprehensive industry understanding Requirements Minimum one year experience in a sports/apparel & footwear retail environment Previous supervisory experience preferred High School education or equivalent Availability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends Physical Requirements Ability to handle or relocate products up to 25 lbs/12kgs Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time with short breaks Ability to freely access all areas of the store; including the selling floor, stock and register area Reasonable accommodations may be made to assist in performing the essential responsibilities Our Commitment to Diversity
