Loma Systems North America is looking for a Canada Business Manager to oversee all Sales, Service and administration operations within Canada, to include team leadership, skills development, customer relationships and profitability.
Responsibilities: Include but not limited to:
+ Coach and engage employees, focusing on retaining the best talent through effective communication, development and successful onboard of new employees.
+ Achieve agreed business targets through existing and new accounts by implementing and applying strategic sales initiatives.
+ Focus on providing excellence in Customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction, industry-leading service, and growing proactive service revenue – contracts, spare parts, warranty, upgrades, and repair services.
+ Ensure Sales and Service are working in unison to support our customers. Delivering service excellence and a trusted advisor approach.
+ Provide forecasts and monitor performance against plans, ensuring proper actions are taken. _Remain focused on margin return, costs/overheads and operating income._
+ Partner with key customers and industry influencers, to ensure growth and long-lasting relationships, satisfaction with the Loma brand and gain a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
+ Ensure all field activities comply with the Company’s Quality System and Standards as well as the Safety and EH&S programs, and all applicable local laws.
+ Execute the company strategic plan and develop a country specific business plan to expand the customer base, using 80/20 guidelines and principals.
+ In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by their line manager that are essentially related to their duties
Qualifications:
+ High Drive to be successful, with a “growth mindset”.
+ 7+ years of sales and/or service experience preferred.
+ Substantial experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry or relevant market exposure, with the ability to recognize and develop talent.
+ Ability to understand company product range of Metal Detectors, Checkweighers and X-Ray equipment and the associated technical applications.
+ Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
+ _Ability to maintain good team communication and atmosphere_
+ Ability to travel 40% of time to customer sites and/or visiting team members
