As a CAPA Manager, you are unafraid of navigating through necessary internal processes to facilitate a product you deeply believe in. You can absorb and act on complex procedures and data and train your team or peers if needed. You take pride in getting things done quickly without sacrificing safety or quality.
 

The CAPA Manager will lead the coordination of activities relating to the execution of the CAPA Quality System. You will handle multiple projects. In this role you will demonstrate effectiveness in task completion, decision-making, empowerment of others, exception management, training, problem solving and team leadership. A functional understanding of FDA, ISO and Baxter Quality systems is also required.

What you'll be doingLead ongoing daily CAPA Quality System activities for areas of direct responsibility and when required assist other Quality areas in the successful performance of these activitiesHandle activities of self in achieving defined quality goals in an efficient, accurate and timely mannerEnsure business needs and timeliness requirements of the CAPA Quality System are met or exceeded globallyRecognized by various levels of sites as a CAPA subject matter expert and be able to demonstrate leadership abilityWrite, review, analyze and revise written procedures and submit procedural changes as needed to meet Corporate, Divisional, Plant, Regulatory Requirements, etc.Understands and assures conformance to regulations in a section or department and interface with regulators during regulatory inspectionsIdentifies and runs continuous improvement projects with the objective of achieving quality, reliability and cost improvementsLead in the development of customer awareness and understanding activities for areas of direct responsibility, and where appropriate, assist and support such activities throughout the facilityProvide guidance and coaching for the areas of responsibility
 What you'll bringBS in science or engineering or related field5+ years' experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related fieldMinimum 1 year of experience working in manufacturing plant, technical service, design site and/or warehouseThorough knowledge of applicable procedures, specifications, regulations and standardsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to mentor a team of employeesGood communication and leadership skillsGood interpersonal/communication/influencing/negotiation skillsGood project management skills

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 - $143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
