GENERAL DESCRIPTION We are looking for a skilled Capabilities Requirements Manager who will prioritize requirements across multiple lines of efforts, bridging the gap between customer needs and software capabilities, driving the successful execution of technical projects that contribute to the organization’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and translating customer requirements into clear, actionable software requirements, ensuring that our solutions align perfectly with customer expectations and business objectives. This role will manage the Capabilities Development Manager and work closely Project Managers, Product Managers, development teams, testing teams and other stakeholders across our global business units to ensure the successful delivery of customer-driven software solutions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES With direction from the Director of Strategic Planning, the Capabilities Requirements Manager will be responsible for the following tasks and functions: + Work closely with the global Operations and Business Development teams to thoroughly capture, analyze, document and prioritize all customer requirements + Develop and maintain the customer capabilities roadmap that the production team will leverage to influence product development roadmaps + Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Engineering, Export, Security, BD,) to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to customer requirements + Act as the liaison between customer-facing teams and internal development teams, ensuring seamless communication of requirements and expectations + Develop clear, comprehensive documentation to communicate customer requirements to the Product Managers and Capabilities Development Manager + Contribute to the continuous improvement of the requirements management process, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance documentation quality, and improve customer satisfaction REQUIREMENTS + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field and deep understanding of command, control, communications, computer, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C5ISR) experience, an understanding of datalink operations, airspace control and battle management + 7 years proven work experience in business analysis, product management, or requirements management, particularly within software development environments + Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team to achieve business objectives while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical details to both business stakeholders and technical teams + Understanding of software development processes, including Agile methodologies, and familiarity with tools like Helix ALM, JIRA, Confluence, ISO 9001, and version control systems + Ability to analyze customer needs, define requirements and work with technical teams to design innovative and feasible software solutions + Proven experience in collaborating across teams, including product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams, to ensure alignment on requirements. + Ability to travel both domestic and international + Completely trustworthy to protect and appropriately handle sensitive information + Highly professional and friendly demeanor in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders + Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance DESIRABLE + Hands on experience with modeling and simulation systems and a basic understanding of how aircraft, weapons, and surveillance systems are used in modeling and simulation + Understanding of how to integrate modeling and simulation applications + Knowledgeable and proficient on the use of PLEXSYS products PERKS As a PLEXSYS employee, you can expect certain advantages; such as advancement based on performance, competitive wages, valuable benefits and a great working environment.
