Role description:
The purpose of this role is to work with the Subject Matter Experts and relevant managers and leaders to support the design, delivery, and evaluation of innovative learning opportunities with others in the Capability Development team within 6 months. The outcome is to support the future-focused skills development of the business’ diverse workforce and deliver to the organization's strategic priorities. The role is required to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business. The role is central to our ambition to create an environment in which people are encouraged to realize their potential. Each role will act as a pool of expertise to support and enable capability-building priorities.
The Capability Development Specialists report into the Global Capability Director. The role will have support provided by the Global Capability Development Analyst & Shared Services as needed (GPSS).
Role accountabilities:
Work collaboratively with internal and external partners, building and maintaining strong, collaborative, working relationships.
Exercise judgment, creative thinking, expertise, and innovative approaches to provide advice and guidance when designing, developing, and executing (including delivering when needed in ViLT) Capability Building solutions supported. Work with internal experts and external partners (as appropriate) to co-create and plan development experiences and learning interventions. Taking the lead on ensuring an excellent learning experience and delivery against expectations (Program / Project Management). Together with the Business, SMEs (subject matter experts), and COE colleagues, design, develop, co-create, and optimize subject matter-specific Capability Building learning journeys and frameworks that can be personalized and accessed in the flow of work. Liaise and work closely with Capability Analyst and/or L&D Shared Services (GPSS) when needed, to appropriately brief and hand over ownership of end-to-end project management and logistics. SPO (Skill Powered Organization) data to determine the needs of the Business.Document and disseminate lessons learned ensuring effective knowledge share to continually enhance future Capability Building initiatives. Actively stay abreast of Capability Building innovation, using a curious mindset to constantly evolve our offering and approach embracing new technologies and diverse delivery approaches. Understand where and how to integrate learning into the wider employee lifecycle/moments that matter as appropriate. Support GBA HRBPs to develop, leverage, and enhance career development experiences to impact people engagement, retention, and career growth. Use analytics to monitor and evaluate impact and provide insights for both the implementation and effectiveness of initiatives. Reporting on progress and ensuring practical application in decision-making.Key Shared Responsibilities:
