Capacity Manager - Medical Group Access
**JOB SUMMARY** **100% Remote position** The Capacity Manager - Medical Group Access is accountable for managing applications systems study and programming activities for established teams, ensuring that tasks are held out in accordance with the work schedule and application development standards. You will assist respective IS Directors and/or leadership with knowledge and implementing technical and process standards and helping department budget planning and management. The pay range for this position is $48.72 /hr. (entry level) - $84.42/hr. (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE** + Is accountable for the day-to-day operational activities of IT that includes staff assignments, daily activities, service desk, ticket management and IT relationships. + Is accountable for all new and modified systems in their area of responsibility. + Plans or oversees the testing, design, programming, timely implementation, and testing of applications projects utilizing approved development methodologies. + Provide training and guidance on information system operation. + Participate in maintaining continuous improvement in the areas of project management, development, coding, debugging, testing, data services, process and application help and training. + Oversee or perform the development and documentation of business requirements, goals, deliverables, and specifications in partnership with customers, employees, and help staff. + Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems. + Create project plans and provide time estimates for the iterations or phases of each project. **KEY SUCCESS FACTORS** + Firm leadership, problem solving, team building, and judgment making skills. + Skilled project manager with ability to articulate business needs. + Excellent written, verbal, and reciprocal communication skills. + Proficient computer software and database skills. + Ability to focus and prioritize strategic aims and work in a growing and challenging environment. + Demonstrated experience in a leadership role on a major project or change management effort. + Demonstrated experience-leading large-scale system-wide organizational change with multiple business units and stakeholder groups. + Proven track record in managing diverse teams, including highly-skilled technical resources as well as developing team members of varying skill levels. + Must be able to handle difficult and sensitive situations using sound, independent judgment within general policy and legal guidelines. + Excellent Strategic Thinker; possess ability to provide thoughtful leadership to develop creative solutions that align with Patient Access strategies and goals for complex business and technical problems. + Ability to collaborate and influence, as well as assign, guide and monitor the work of others without direct reporting relationships. + Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of management and staff across the System. + Ability to lead/provoke the thinking of senior level administrators and clinical leadership. + Oral and written communication skills, including the ability to teach/explain technical/analytical concepts to non-technical managers and staff, as well as the ability to communicate business needs and risks to stakeholders. + Self-directed and takes proactive initiatives with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. + Demonstrate ownership and dependability. + **_EPIC Cadence certification REQUIRED._** + Expert-level experience with EPIC Cadence, including system configuration, scheduling workflows, optimization, and troubleshooting to support team members with effective patient access stewardship. **BENEFITS** Our competitive benefits package includes the following + Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits + 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% + Tuition Reimbursement + PTO accrual beginning Day 1 Note: Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level **QUALIFICATIONS** + EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification + EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience As a health care system committed to improving the health of those we serve, we are asking our employees to model the same behaviours that we promote to our patients.
