**Job Summary:**
The Global Integrated Engineering (GIE) portfolio management leader is responsible to provide leadership and guidance to a team of portfolio and resource managers and have overall responsibility for the management and governance for the BD CAPEX Portfolio and drive compliance by ensuring the budget, approvals, and resources are in place to meet portfolio goals while involving the necessary project and portfolio leaders, business integrators, ISC strategy, finance, GIE team members and key stakeholders to succeed.
This position will lead the development of a GIE Portfolio Management governance model implemented across BD. The Governance model must deliver a standardized portfolio management process that will ensure that business portfolios will be delivered on time, on budget, and resourced and strategically aligned to deliver multiple platform goals across the Business.
This role will also be responsible to ensure the Governance model is executed to maintain annual CAPEX budgets and lead idea generation as required to meet the current year budget, establish a forum to review projects aligned to threshold requirements.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Accountable for and manages the CAPEX portfolio, to increase harmonization and effective governance, resources, funding approval (CAPEX, OPEX), resourcing, and on time completion.
+ Project types: Capacity, compliance, safety, digitalization, architecture, NPD, and facilities.
+ Develop comprehensive project portfolio review governance, to ensure successful CAPEX approval of NPD and CAPEX initiatives.
+ Identify and close pending deviations from overall annual CAPEX budget spend.
+ Manage and responsible for informing portfolio stakeholders of status on an ongoing basis.
+ Lead collaboration among cross-functional teams (i.e., engineering, finance, manufacturing, procurement) to ensure seamless integration NPD/CAPEX initiatives and gain approval for CB-2 submission.
+ Responsible for, identify, and mitigate potential portfolio risks (i.e., cost overruns/schedule delays/technical challenges) to ensure successful budget management.
+ Communicates portfolio updates to functional management and executive leadership.
+ Conduct review of GIE Resource loading.
+ Develop and implement digital tools to enhance portfolio management and CAPEX and resource control.
+ Lead sharing of best practices and lessons learned among team members across organization to drive continuous improvement in DFMA/CAPEX integration projects.
+ Create, responsible, and prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management stakeholders, highlighting project status achievements challenges opportunities for improvement.
+ Research and evaluate new portfolio management technologies/solutions that can enhance industrialization initiatives/optimize CAPEX investments.
+ Assist in the integration of innovative technologies and processes into existing systems, ensuring compatibility/seamless implementation.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams (i.e., engineering/manufacturing/finance) to ensure effective communication/alignment of project requirements/expectations
**Education and Experience**
+ B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred). MBA or MS in Engineering is preferred.Successful record of accomplishment in Lean manufacturing. PMP certification a plus
+ Ten (10) years of progressively responsible engineering and management experience. Proven leadership in portfolio and capital management. Experience preferred in operations and/or in advanced manufacturing engineering.
+ Experience navigating self and teams in cross-functional environments and/or matrix organizations.

**Salary Range Information**
$166,500.00 - $274,800.00 USD Annual
