Capital Data Portfolio Manager

The Capital Data Management Portfolio Manager will be responsible for efficiently collecting,

organizing, and disseminating relevant capital data for the GOS capital program. This includes

but is not limited to tracking budgets, spend, forecasts, and variations to the plan throughout the

calendar year. The financial analyst will support the GOS Capital leadership team in developing

and identifying strong systems and processes to effectively track the data. The candidate will

support the business planning cycle as well as the annual in-year tracking of the program.

 

7+ years experience in a similar field is highly preferred. 

 

This is a hybrid position based in either Cranberry, PA or Rock Hill, SC.

No relocation or sponsorship is available for this role.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· This is a central role within GOS, as GOS Capital relies on data from a vast array of segments and

subsegment locations. Planning, data gathering, organization, reporting are key elements.

· Analyzes and identifies risks for the Capital Program by leveraging the data and supporting the

identification of key metrics to monitor.

· Develop and maintain relationships with the GOS sub-segment leadership for effective exchange

of information.

· Support the establishment and reporting on KPIs routinely to key stakeholders.

· Support the decision criteria of whether or not spend an be capitalized and categorized into the

right portfolio (Maintenance, Improvement, or Growth)

 

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) – Minimum Requirement: · BS Engineering or finance

 

Skills and Competencies: · Strong nuclear / industrial safety and HuP mindset · Effective communicator both verbal and written · Ability to work with across multiple organizations · Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. · Experience in budgeting and / or financial reporting or modeling · Uses fact based, structured decision-making process to initiate and support appropriate actions · Knows how to effectively exchange information, instructions and ideas within across functional teams · Understands and adheres to all policies, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to safety, health, environmental and quality assurance emphasizing this perspective in their own work and in the work of others · Working knowledge of capital programs.
