POSITION SUMMARY:

Person in this position will serve as a member of the capital development team. The person in this position will be responsible for proposal development for capital projects, funder research,  and collaborating with the capital development team. Essential Job Functions include those listed below:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Crafts detailed proposals to secure grants from foundations, government agencies, or corporate sponsors, tailoring proposals to support capital development goals. Researches and identifies potential grant and other funding opportunities aligned with the non-profit’s capital campaign goals. Researches funders that support construction, renovation, real estate acquisition, or other capital needs. Facilitates development of project budgets and justifications, demonstrating how the funds will be allocated for physical assets, construction, renovation, or equipment. Works closely with FitzHouse staff to align the grant proposals with broader capital funding goals. Ensures proposals meet funder requirements and preparing post-award reports showing how the grant is utilized for project milestones. Embraces and embodies the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation Perform all other duties as assigned.
