Job Description:
Responsible for more complex finance activities around capital calculation, reporting and/or analysis to support the Bank's Capital Initiatives. Must have a thorough understanding of Basel III. Can work independently. May provide supervision to a small staff. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects within the unit and with partners.
Enterprise Capital Management (ECM) is responsible for the efficient and prudent management of the Company’s and subsidiaries’ capital. ECM employees interact daily with internal and external constituents including business lines, other Treasury functions such as Balance Sheet Management (BSM), Global Funding, and Global Liquidity Management (GLM), Chief Investment Office, internal control partners and regulators. Within ECM, the Business Management and Governance team oversees ECM’s governance and organizational effectiveness processes, Audit/Risk/Regulatory engagement, and business operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Capital Control Council (CCC) facilitation, including materials consolidation, confirming agenda / attendees / quorum, taking minutesCapital Measurement and Allocation Committee (CMAC) facilitation, including materials consolidation, confirming agenda / attendees / quorum, taking minutesBCC 14-2 trackingAnnual Charter / Roster updateseRIC Regulatory Change Review Facilitation, including estimating capital impact for regulatory rule changesPerforming the Advanced System Assessment, including firm-wide issues analysis for capital impactLearning governance structure of the firm, serving as subject matter expert for all capital governance mattersLearning and working across ECM organizational functionsUnderstanding of capital regulatory requirements Regular engagement with 3LOD, 2LOD, and CFO control partnersRequired Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in financial servicesFinance/Accounting knowledge - experience in balance sheet management, forecasting, or other Corporate Treasury functionsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive environmentAbility to work across multiple teams in a collaborative environmentProficient in MS Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel & WordInquisitive, willing to challenge the status quo and strive to improve processesDesired Qualifications:
