Job Description:At Regions, the Capital Markets Debt Operations group comprises of Syndicated Loan Agency Services, Syndicated Loan Services, RSL Operations, RECM Operations, and Loan Trading Operations. These teams provide operational and risk management support the $11B Regions-led syndication portfolio, syndicated participation bought portfolio, FNMA, Freddie Mac, HUD, and loan trading portfolios.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides agency loan servicing support and has direct communication with participant banks, lenders, and business partnersManages a complex portfolio of syndicated bank facilities across multiple industries and business linesReconciles daily funding and payment activity to account for all daily cash transactionsCalculates and tracks complex interest and fee accruals at various rate levelsMonitors and escalates past due principal, interest, and fees to ensure that the loan accounting system is accurate and provide clients timely and accurate invoicesCommunicates with internal/external stakeholders regarding issues around these specialized facilitiesManages the ongoing balances between loan system and borrower, along with participant bank sharesResearches and resolves loan related issues which may include missing payments, margin changes and/or unprocessed draw requests or conversionsEnsures all lending transactions are booked and managed correctly, minimizing operational risks and losses and ensuring compliance with all bank policies and proceduresReads and interprets complex legal credit agreements and related documentation working with credit, legal, and originationMonitors control reports updating applicable commentsSupports co-workers, work with various special projects or other tasks as assigned Recommends latest methods to improve departmental proceduresThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Thsi position will require daily (M-F), on-site attendance at Regions Riverchase Operations Center (Hoover, AL) or Regions Plaza Atlanta.
