JOB TITLE: Capital Planning & Controls Coordinator
Job Summary: Manage and document global Industrial and capital project workflow and asset tracking to meet corporate capital investment policies and SOX controls. Requires close communication between site leadership and corporate Engineering, Finance, Sourcing, Account Payable, ARIBA and Permanent Investment Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Expertise in Fixed Asset policies, Capital (Project) guidelines aligned with SOX controls, and intercompany asset transfers.Proficient with EP1 and QP1 modules in SAP: set up projects, budgets, reporting, WBS creation, Capital Work Orders and equipment set-up for the site.Manage monthly project reconciliations (PI reports audit against EP1/QP1/PCS reports).Interact with Permanent Investment, Engineering, Axalta Tax group, Corporate Finance, and Internal Auditing.Work with regional engineering teams to coordinate Fixed Asset responsibilities for Industrial Operations.Maintain documentation for projects and fixed assets.General understanding of MFG facility and assets.Implement Journal Entries (MEV) to maintain proper documentation and approvals.Support month-end requirements for financial closing.Expertise in PCS functions (Capital Project Control Software) to create and update projects, upload and update critical documents, run reports, and initiate followed by complete PCN.Validate compliance to policy prior to capital authorization routing in PCS. Track the approval phases and escalate in the event of delays.Update the project status to technically completed or final completion in PCS and SAP.Create regular reports on the CAPEX status for internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Business or related discipline preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in Fixed Asset policies, Capital (Project) guidelines aligned with SOX controls, and intercompany asset transfers.Travel required: up to 15%.SAP EP1, ARIBA, and project control systems knowledge required.Ability to research policies and provide guidance to onsite personnel as well as other Axalta sites.Proactive in identifying needs and implementing solutions.Flexible to adapt to changing systems and policies.Drive standardization of fixed asset accounting and project set-up across sites.Identify and resolve invoice issues.Detail-oriented.Our Company:
