Oversee and drive regional sales for Acclarent ENT capital product lines, focusing on increasing sales win rates, shortening purchase timelines, and successfully closing opportunities.
Support the ASD in promoting and selling Acclarent’s ENT hardware, software, and service solutions, developing, and executing sales strategies in alignment with company objectives.
Partner with the Regional Business Manager to enhance the capital selling skills of Account Managers within the region, providing coaching and development to improve sales effectiveness.
Ensure consistent and effective capital support in open territories to drive sales and market penetration, managing resources to maintain capital continuity.
Focus on expanding market share for Bien Air drills by developing and implementing strategies to increase adoption and market presence.
Contribute to the capital navigation and drill pipeline by providing support and insights while ensuring Account Managers and RBMs take ownership, developing and managing a formal business plan at the start of each fiscal year, followed by monthly and quarterly reports aimed at achieving territory sales goals.
Collaborate on strategies to convert large IDNs and key customers, assisting in developing and executing plans to drive engagement and growth with major accounts.
Maintain a high level of technical, product, and disease state knowledge, providing a consultative role in the OR environment in accordance with specific product indications.
Build strong relationships with existing customers and target new accounts, identifying new business opportunities and product improvement opportunities for sales, marketing, and product development teams.
Operate within defined budgets and strictly in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, adhering to the policies and procedures within the AdvaMed Code of Conduct and the Sunshine Act.
Complete all sales administrative duties in a timely manner as defined by management.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of two to five years of successful capital surgical device or other medical device sales experience.
Clear understanding of working complex, high-dollar capital sales.
Expertise in using sales guides and tools for large capital sales.
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Confidence in communicating with established physicians and other surgical personnel.
Strong negotiation and selling skills, with a track record of success.
Interpersonal and political savvy within the hospital setting.
Ability to stand for long hours in the Operating Room during cases and lift/carry up to 65 lbs.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel 25-75% of the time, depending on territory coverage.
