Job Description:

About the Role:

The Capper Operator role at the Carrollton location is responsible for operation of the seamer equipment to ensure that all cans are properly seamed and make all label changeovers.  You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Always keep adequate supply of lids in seamer(s).Monitor flow of cans into seamer(s), watching for damaged lids or cans and make label changeovers.Pull random samples when signaled by the mixer operator and identify by batch number.Monitor finished product lids for legible expiration dates and maintains production line schedules.Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA and all other regulatory agencies.Adhere to good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination.Organization and cleanliness of work area is expected at all times.Work overtime as required.Employee must perform any other duties required or assigned as needed.

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 6:00p to 6:00a Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. Shift differential included.
