Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capture Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for leading and managing the capture process for government contracts in the medical staffing and related healthcare services sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, capture management, and proposal development within government contracting. This position requires exceptional strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of government procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Opportunity Identification:Research, analyze, and track federal, state, and local government opportunities in medical staffing and related services.Monitor procurement websites, forecasts, and other sources for new opportunities aligned with the company’s capabilities.Participate in industry days, trade shows, and outreach efforts as appropriate to discover new opportunities.Capture Planning and Management:Develop, document, and execute comprehensive capture strategies for targeted opportunities, ensuring all elements are detailed and actionable.Manage the entire lifecycle of capture efforts from opportunity identification through award, coordinating resources and activities to meet objectives.Lead opportunity assessments, win probability evaluations, and bid/no-bid decisions.Engage key stakeholders, including agency decision-makers and potential teaming partners, to strengthen the company’s competitive positioning.Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer budgets to inform cost-effective price-to-win strategies.Develop compelling win themes and discriminators that highlight the company’s unique strengths.Proposal Development Support:Collaborate with proposal managers and partners to develop compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals.Support responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and other procurement requests.Market and Competitor Analysis:Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to understand trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the company’s value proposition and market positioning.Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).Experience:Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development or capture management, with a focus on government contracting in the medical staffing or healthcare services sectors.Proven success in managing capture efforts and securing government contracts in the staffing or healthcare industries.Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFAR) and government procurement processes.Skills:Exceptional strategic planning, management, documentation, communication, and negotiation skills.Expertise in developing win themes and differentiators that align with client needs and priorities.Proficiency in CRM software and tools for tracking opportunities and managing relationships.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Existing relationships with government agencies such as VA, DoD, HHS, or state and local healthcare departments.Familiarity with medical staffing trends and compliance requirements.APMP Certification or similar credentials are a plus.Why Join Us?
