Job Title: Car Dealership Technician

Job Description

We are hiring for an Automotive Fleet Technician. This position is a long-term role focused on the management of a fleet of vehicles for an Automotive R&D facility. This is an on-site position.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate maintenance with service centers and dealerships.Resolve warranty and repair issues along with general maintenance needs such as jump starting, flat tire management, cleaning interior and exterior, and fueling.Label and enter data for new vehicles, including prototype vehicles, mass production vehicles, and competitor vehicles.Transport petrol and battery electric vehicles (BEV) to service appointments.Confirm fleet problem and maintenance requirements.Carry out initial problem review and concern recognition.Receipt, check-in, and tracking device application to fleet vehicles.Support end-of-use disposition, including vehicle scrap and sale process.Maintain accurate vehicle records.Inventory and maintain shuttle, master, and competitor vehicles and their conditions.Confirm MVR checks and enter data into the KeyPer system.Transport vehicles to service destinations within Ohio.Essential SkillsGeneral Automotive Knowledge & MaintenanceBasic Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Data EntrySelf-motivation and ability to manage workloadComfortable driving vehicles on highways and in high traffic areasCapable of driving long distances as required (up to 3 hours)Additional Skills & QualificationsAutomotive Technician Strong PC computer skillsAbility to pass an MVR checkExperience with oil changes, tire rotations, battery inspections, and battery changesExperience in vehicle maintenance, management, or similar rolesWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00
