Job Title: Car Dealership Technician Job Description We are hiring for an Automotive Fleet Technician. This position is a long-term role focused on the management of a fleet of vehicles for an Automotive R&D facility. This is an on-site position. Responsibilities + Coordinate maintenance with service centers and dealerships. + Resolve warranty and repair issues along with general maintenance needs such as jump starting, flat tire management, cleaning interior and exterior, and fueling. + Label and enter data for new vehicles, including prototype vehicles, mass production vehicles, and competitor vehicles. + Transport petrol and battery electric vehicles (BEV) to service appointments. + Confirm fleet problem and maintenance requirements. + Carry out initial problem review and concern recognition. + Receipt, check-in, and tracking device application to fleet vehicles. + Support end-of-use disposition, including vehicle scrap and sale process. + Maintain accurate vehicle records. + Inventory and maintain shuttle, master, and competitor vehicles and their conditions. + Confirm MVR checks and enter data into the KeyPer system. + Transport vehicles to service destinations within Ohio. Essential Skills + General Automotive Knowledge & Maintenance + Basic Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Data Entry + Self-motivation and ability to manage workload + Comfortable driving vehicles on highways and in high traffic areas + Capable of driving long distances as required (up to 3 hours) Additional Skills & Qualifications + Automotive Technician + Strong PC computer skills + Ability to pass an MVR check + Experience with oil changes, tire rotations, battery inspections, and battery changes + Experience in vehicle maintenance, management, or similar roles Work Environment You will be working in a Research and Development environment.
