Carbon Portfolio Manager - Remote

We are working with a consulting company, seeking a Carbon Portfolio Manager who will join their Global Internal Sustainability Team and be a key player in their industry-leading carbon removal team. This role will focus on developing and refining the company's carbon portfolio, concentrating on both nature-based and engineered carbon removal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing the strategic framework for building and enhancing carbon removal portfolio.Monitor carbon market trends (e.g., players, standards, policies, market conditions such as supply and pricing) and provide insights and recommendations for company's carbon portfolio strategy and roadmap.Support the evolution of company's carbon portfolio sourcing process.Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and structure partnerships and deals to source avoidance and removal solutions that align with company's net-zero targets.Conduct due diligence on various technologies by collaborating with relevant partners and internal technical experts.Assist in communicating the carbon portfolio strategy both internally and externally.Contribute to enhancing company's overall net-zero strategy, including planning and budgeting from the carbon portfolio perspective, and shape program evolution based on emerging best practices.Partner with internal stakeholders to explore opportunities for leveraging portfolio partnershipsEngage in knowledge-sharing activities and expand expertise related to carbon removal and sustainability.
