Job Overview:

The Cardiac Arrhythmia Tech prepares and educates patients on telemetry transmitter, telemetry monitoring and electrocardiograms. Uses and understands the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care. Assists new employees in the policy and procedures of the department. Supports the philosophy, objectives, mission and vision of Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalentBLS through the American Heart AssociationSuccessful completion of all orientation programs

Preferred

Successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course
