The Cardiac CST’s main responsibility is to prepare the operating room for surgery. In order to do so, they must be knowledgeable in sterilizing and supplying the appropriate equipment, as well as preparing patients for surgery by washing the incision sites.

The Cardiac Surg Tech will also assist surgeons and nurses during surgery by passing sterile supplies and instruments.

Our client may require the following: prior cardiac experience and NBSTSA certification.
