Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a CARDIAC DEVICE CLINIC SPECIALIST to join our team!
The Cardiac Device Clinic Specialist provides quality cardiac rhythm device services to patients throughout the Aspirus Heart & Vascular Institute service area.
Conduct electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, stress testing, or other cardiovascular tests to record patients' cardiac activity, using specialized electronic test equipment, recording devices, or laboratory instruments.Monitor patients' blood pressure and heart rate using electrocardiogram (EKG) equipment during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures to notify the physician if something appears wrong.
Attach electrodes to the patients' chests, arms, and legs, connect electrodes to leads from the electrocardiogram (EKG) machine, and operate the EKG machine to obtain a reading.
Explain medical procedures or test results to patients or family members.
HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period. Day shift: Monday-Friday, varied shifts between 6:30am-5:00pm
Experience/Qualifications
Associate Degree in related health sciences, cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, nursing or biomedical electronic sciences Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license.ACLS desired.Computer skills required.Employee Benefits
