Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964. The facility includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity service with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care. Responsibilities 

 

The Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist is an individual with an extensive background in the either Cardiac CathLab or Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab. This individual will utilize his/her vast knowledge base to assist in highly critical and highly acute procedures within the realm of interventional cardiology. The Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist will not only perform high level cardiac angiographic procedures but has the potential to also assist in a wide variety of cutting edge procedures such as TAVR, Mitral Valve Clips, Left Atrial Appendage Closure, PFO/ASD Closure, and a variety of cardiac ablations in the EP environment.

 

This is a highly stressful and intense work environment. Exposure to X-ray and blood borne pathogens may occur during any of the above procedures.  Long periods of standing are required with the use of lead aprons. Mastery of sterile technique is required.
