Job Description:

The Electrophysiology NP/PA will function as a member of the Electrophysiology team at Lahey Hospital Medical Center providing inpatient and outpatient services.

This individual will be responsible for providing the following services:  


1. Outpatient evaluation of new and established patients with cardiac rhythm disturbances.  

2. Pre-procedure planning/follow up for a patient population including: Pacemakers/ICD's, antiarrythmic drug therapy, catheter ablation procedures, left atrial appendage closure device implant.

3. Outpatient follow up for patients with CIEDs including device interrogations and evaluation of remote monitoring in the EP Device Clinic.

4. Inpatient responsibilities caring for EP patients in the Interventional Cardiology Hold Unit (ICHU) and medical floor.

5. Performs Cardioversions and Loop monitor implants/explants. 

6. May require clinical rotation to an affiliated clinics.
