This critical role Performs various duties related to patient assistance, patient transportation and the cleaning of the operating rooms and general surgical area. **Top Reasons to Work at Trinity Health of New England:** + Patient-Centric environment + Great Benefits + Career growth and advancement potential + Diverse and Inclusive Culture **Work Hours/Shift:** + Per Diem + 12-hour shifts + Requires working rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled. **You Will Be Responsible For** : + **Exceptional Patient Care:** Provides advanced ECG monitoring for patients in need of cardiac monitoring through assessment of ECG strips and arrhythmia interpretation. + **Excellent Communicator** : Possesses troubleshooting skills to recognize the problems, identify probable causes, and seeks solutions to correct the problem. + **Strong Educator** : Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided. + **Technical Familiarity** : Identifies and responds to life threatening rhythm changes, initiates codes, records rhythms during codes, and performs continuous EKG monitoring with accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias and interval measurements. + **Active Teamwork** : Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork. **Requirements** : + **Education** : High School diploma or equivalent. + **Certification** : CPR required + Basic computer skills required. + Effective communication, organizational and critical thinking skills. **Preferred Skills:** + **Experience** : A minimum of one (1) year of Cardiac monitoring experience preferred. + **Certification:** Telemetry Certification preferred or successfully passes the Mercy Cardiac Rhythm.
