The Echocardiography Technologist is responsible for consistently performing high-quality Echocardiography exams according to the established protocols that meet department quality standards for both Inpatients and Outpatients. This position assists physicians with diagnostic procedures, including transesophageal echocardiograms.

Requirements

Associate degree preferred Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography Program RDCS-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or CCI-Cardiovascular Credentialing International CPR required Position requires Weekend and Holiday rotation with fellow sonographers. Additional hours available to meet the staffing needs of the department

 

One year experience in echocardiography is preferred; familiarity with Philips iE33 and McKesson Horizon Cardiology CPACs is a plus.
